NOMADAS
I spent a full year documenting 14 migratory species as they struggled to survive and procreate before eventually continuing their journeys across the globe in 2018. Leading several expeditions into Mexico’s wildest pristine environments, often spending weeks with a small team or alone in the field to capture a single sequence, it was an undertaking I for one, underestimated. What would come of countless days and nights attacked by mosquito poltergeists, scrapes with two ton animals, and close encounters with the furious palpitations of our conscious and all too often irritable companions on this planeta terra? Mexico’s first wildlife film, soon to air on Smithsonian Channel and theaters across Mexico. Though all species introduced me to the harsh majesty of their respective environs, I enjoyed photographing none more than elephant seals.
